16.3.4. RESTORE SD

• Click on the “Restore SD” button to regenerate the SD card installed in your ViaMichelin portable GPS

device.

• Select the mapping to regenerate and click on “OK”.

Depending on the map to regenerate, the operation can take several tens of minutes before you return to the

“Help and solutions” screen.

SD card regeneration takes place in a number of steps; a number of status screens will be displayed successively.

16.5. HOW TO START YOUR CONTENT MANAGER

To access the Content Manager programme:

- Connect your ViaMichelin portable GPS device to your PC.

- Establish the ActiveSync connection (Windows 2000 and Windows XP only) in “

Guest” mode

(select “No” when prompted for a partnership).

- Start the

Content Manager :

Start > Programmes > ViaMichelin > ViaMichelin Navigation PND > Content Manager.
